These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EDAP, an education ERP platform provided by DigiCop Solutions. By accessing or using EDAP, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using EDAP on behalf of an institution, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on that institution's behalf.

1. Description of Service

EDAP provides institutions with tools to manage admissions, academics, attendance, examinations, finance, human resources, and related administrative functions through a web and mobile platform. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

2. Accounts & Responsibilities

• Your institution is responsible for creating and managing user accounts within EDAP;
• Each user is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity under their account;
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to, or use of, an account or any other security breach;
• Your institution is responsible for the accuracy of the academic, administrative, and financial data it enters into the platform.

3. Acceptable Use

When using EDAP, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or data;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the platform's infrastructure;
• Upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to reverse-engineer the platform;
• Use data accessed through EDAP for any purpose outside your institution's own use.

4. Intellectual Property

EDAP, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of DigiCop Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the platform — only a limited right to use it as intended. Data you enter into EDAP (student records, academic content, and similar institutional data) remains the property of your institution.

5. Availability & Support

We aim to keep EDAP available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control may occasionally affect availability. Support is provided through the channels made available to your institution.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigiCop Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of EDAP, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to EDAP if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if an institution's subscription or agreement with us ends. Institutions may request export of their data prior to termination, subject to our reasonable assistance policies.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of EDAP after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement between your institution and DigiCop Solutions.
